In 1994, Dr. Robert H. Keller founded The BIODORON Institute of Advanced Medicine, a state-of-the-art medical clinic specializing in cutting-edge treatment for immune system disorders and anti-aging.

After years of review Dr. Keller noticed a trend, he consistently saw significantly low levels of uric acid in subjects with immune disorders. In furthering his study, Dr. Keller initially concluded that uric acid is the last antioxidant at the body's disposal when all the normal antioxidants have been exhausted. So, he asked. If uric acid is the body's last defense, then what is the first? His investigation led him to a substance called glutathione.

Glutathione is the most powerful and prevelant antioxidant known to man. Dr. Keller knew if he could get Glutathione (GSH) levels up at cellular level, his patients overall quality of life would greatly improve. Glutathione is produced naturally from three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine. Unfortunately, raising our body's glutathione levels is extremely difficult for two reasons. Eating enough glutathione-rich foods only works in an idealized world where stress, deadlines and fast food are not factors. Orally supplementing glutathione is a good idea, but just not practical. As soon as the GSH reaches the stomach it is broken down and never reaches the blood stream.

After years of research and development, Dr. Keller created MaxGXL, a product containing the necessary components of glutathione that when absorbed into the body; stimulate the body’s own production of glutathione in every cell of the body. Back in 1994 the University of Minnesota picked up on a major scientific discovery by Jeffrey Friedman at Rockefeller University, Leptin. It is a fat hormone which sends messages to our brain related to appetite and fat storage. The more fat we have the more Leptin we have. This causes the brain to send an erroneous message to eat more food, store fat in the cells, and not release stored fat from the cells, creating an unending cycle.

Because the clinical studies were so profound and precise MaxWLX was awarded a U.S. Patent in 2005.
